When you are not there

The hotel appears through figures, not through stories

Every number comes from in-room devices and logged actions. Owners, managers and accountants look at the same set of figures.

Room map on the phone

Which rooms have guests, someone in the room, are being cleaned or are broken, right now. Status comes from the room controller, not from staff pressing a button.

Industry-standard daily metrics

Occupancy, ADR and RevPAR captured at the night audit, calculated both with and without complimentary and house-use rooms.

Alerts with escalation

SOS, unusual door openings, a vacant room with someone in it. If nobody picks it up, a superior is notified automatically.

Cleaning time measured by the card

Every room has its cleaning minutes, stating whether they were measured by card or self-reported by staff. You know the housekeeping team's real productivity.

Incidents and repeat faults

Engineering tickets with before and after photos, fault-prone rooms flagged, and overdue compliance items shown at once.

Voids and money adjustments within the day

A report on every money edit, highlighting people who void unusually often.

Control

Six places where hotels usually lose money

Software usually knows only what staff typed in. TingHotel checks against real signals from the room and keeps the history of every edit.

Included in the free version

Rooms sold off the books

A room recorded as vacant with a card inserted, someone inside or the door open: the system alerts at once, without waiting for the night audit.

Included in the free version

Guests who left without checking out

Compares the stay status with real signals from the room: guest has left, guest did not return overnight, guest count mismatch.

From the Essential plan

Voiding and editing charges

Editing money requires a reason, and history is never erased. The daily report highlights people who void unusually often.

From the Essential plan

Self-reported room cleaning

Figures carry their source: measured by card, inferred or self-reported. People who self-report unusually often are highlighted.

From the Pro plan

Contractor workload

A daily workload statement with rooms, people, hours with their source, and acceptance results; both sides confirm and then it is locked.

From the Pro plan

Supply and minibar consumption

The minibar creates issue vouchers by itself, stocktakes record discrepancies, and supply cost is shown per occupied room night.

Energy

A room with nobody in it uses no electricity

Air conditioning is the biggest electricity item in a hotel room. The room controller knows whether anyone is in the room, and the software knows whether the room is for sale.

10-30%

less air conditioning run time when controlling rooms by occupancy, in an independent study of 6 hotels in the US.

Source: DOE/CREEA, 2011-2012. TingHotel has not published its own savings figure without measuring at a Vietnamese project.

Vacant rooms go to energy-saving mode

Card removed, check-out, room not for sale: lights, air conditioning and curtains go to energy-saving mode according to room status.

Pre-cool by arrival time

For an assigned room, air conditioning starts only close to the guest's arrival. It does not run all day waiting for the guest.

Seasons and schedules for the whole hotel

Switch hot and cold seasons for every room at once; schedule commands for a room or group of rooms.

Metering by room, floor and zone

The energy add-on shows where losses occur: which floor and which room consume unusually.

Cost

Start from the hardware, pay more when you need

Compliance

Compliance support tools built in

A hotel's legal risk lies in what repeats every day. TingHotel reminds, checks completeness and keeps a trail; final responsibility still belongs to the hotel.

Stay notification

Checks all required fields, exports PDF, shares by Zalo; reports late submissions.

Circular 116/2026/TT-BCA

Personal data

Guest documents stored at the hotel, encrypted and masked when viewed; data subject request log and data breach incident log.

Personal Data Protection Law 2025, Decree 356/2025

Electronic invoice

Invoice queue with full buyer information; direct connection to the invoice provider in the Enterprise plan.

Decree 70/2025/ND-CP

Staff working hours

Warnings citing the legal provision when shifts exceed hours, lack rest or pass the overtime cap.

Labour Code

Fire safety and inspections

The technical compliance calendar reminds before deadlines and keeps records to show at inspections.

Checklist

Questions to ask every vendor

Use it when comparing options. TingHotel's answer sits right under each question.

Where does room status come from?

If staff press the button, every report built on it is late and easily wrong.

TingHotelFrom the room controller: door, card and sensors, two-way with the software.

Who is responsible when hardware and software do not match?

Two vendors often blame each other.

TingHotelOne vendor for both the room controller and the operations software.

Does the hotel stop when the Internet goes down?

A hotel runs 24 hours, and the network is never perfectly stable.

TingHotelRooms keep running, staff on the local network keep working, and data is sent later when the network returns.

Can we take our data with us?

It decides the cost of switching later.

TingHotelEvery business table exports to Excel or CSV; Enterprise runs on the owner's own infrastructure.

Do we pay for features we do not use?

It affects total cost of ownership.

TingHotelTiered plans and separately bought add-ons; you can use just the free version plus add-ons.

How do we expand to a second hotel?

A chain needs to see several hotels in one place.

TingHotelMultiple hotels is in the Enterprise plan; the owner dashboard is an add-on.

FAQ

Questions owners often ask

Our hotel uses another PMS. Do we need to change?
Not required. The free version receives check-in and check-out from the PMS in use to control rooms. To replace the PMS entirely, upgrade to the Essential or Pro plan.
What if the hotel has no HDL room controllers?
The PMS part still runs, but it loses the biggest value, which is real data from the rooms. Discuss the RCU installation option from the MEP design stage.
How much electricity does TingHotel save?
We have not published our own figure without measuring at a real project. An independent study of 6 hotels in the US found that controlling rooms by occupancy cut air conditioning run time by about 10 to 30%; Vietnam's climate needs its own measurement.
Where is guest data stored?
Guest documents sit on the TingEdge machine at the hotel. Business data sits on the platform, separated per hotel; the Enterprise plan can place the server in Vietnam or on dedicated infrastructure.
How is it priced?
Per room per year for the Essential and Pro plans. The free version when using from 30 HDL RCUs and at least 1 TingEdge. Projects under 30 RCUs are negotiated separately. Add-ons are priced by connection item. Enterprise is quoted per project.
